Data types and nodes

Reference

Installing GeoData Manager

Steamfield

These data types store time-based data collected during the production phase of a geothermal development.

Choosing the data type to use

Choose the correct data type/node depending on the kind of measurements you want to work with:

For this kind of measurement use this node/data type
Pressure, temperature and flow data measured at production wells Production
Pressure, temperature and flow data measured at reinjection wells Reinjection
Pressure variations measured at monitor wells Monitor - Pressure
Water level variations measured at monitor wells Monitor - Water Level
To carry out specialised flow calculations [Flow Calculations using Process]

Reservoir and Steamfield data sets are compatable

Data sets in Reservoir and Steamfield are in the same header table, and have the same kind of detail table. You can work with data sets of both types at either node: in the filter bar at either node, either select No Filter or enter appropriate Well Test Types.

Production

This node and its sub-nodes are for discharge tests on production wells.

For information and to choose the data type/node to use, see here.

Reinjection

This node and its sub-nodes are for reinjection measurements (discharge tests) on production wells.

For information and to choose the data type/node to use, see here.

Monitor - Pressure

Monitor - Water Level
